A message dated October 5 was received stating the Governor read the                                                            
following resolution and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled                                                             
copies to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:                                                                
                                                                                                                                
     HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 6 am                                                                                                  
     Urging the United States Department of the Interior to maintain                                                            
     three lease sales in the Chukchi Sea and Beaufort Sea Planning                                                             
     Areas and two lease sales in the Cook Inlet Planning Area and to                                                           
     remove certain potential lease sales.
